Key Stage 3

At Nendrum College we strongly believe that imagination and creativity are essential attributes for our young people to become successful in today’s changing world. We aim to develop each pupil's theatrical understanding, appreciation and passion for the Performing Arts. Essential life skills are also explored and developed, including confidence, team building, creative thinking, communication and public speaking. All of these transferable skills are necessary for success in further education and employment. Drama is divided into theory where pupils study 3 professional works a year and different skills required in the drama profession. There is a focus on role play, group work and individual presentations.

In the first three years at Nendrum College pupils will receive one period each week (35 minutes).
