Transport Arrangements

All pupils entitled to free transport under revised regulations will be issued with a free bus pass by the Education Authority (SE Region). These will be distributed as soon as possible on receipt to the College. Pupils should write their name on their pass. 

There are also convenient service buses available on all other routes, both morning and afternoon, serving Ballygowan, Dundonald, Newtownards, Killinchy and Killyleagh.

It is expected that whilst travelling on school buses and public transport, pupils will maintain the high standards of behaviour and respect for others which apply in school. Failure to do so will result in sanctions being imposed, which may include the Education Authority removing a bus pass for an indefinite period or suspension from school.

The Education Authority (South Eastern Region) provides bus/taxis for children travelling from and back to Killyleagh and surrounding areas. The times of these will be determined by the Education Authority and parents will be notified of these during the Summer Term by the Education Authority.
