      The year 12 MVRUS class carried out their live traffic survey to see if vehicles are ‘Abiding by designated speed limits on urban or rural roads’. They were highly visible wearing hi vis vests. They gathered a lot of information and are now processing the results.

    • European Day of Languages

      The French Department recently celebrated the European Day of Languages on Thursday 26th September by enjoying a ‘show and tell theme’. Pupils and staff were encouraged to bring in a small souvenir from another country to talk about.  It was an important day to recognise how important and fun learning a language can be as well as acknowledge the many languages spoken amongst our pupils here in the college.

    • Donut Sale

      A donut sale was held today in Nendrum College to raise funds for our intergenerational after-school group. Today, pupils who volunteer at Stepping Stones in Comber sold donuts to raise funds for activities for the residents of Stepping Stones and pupils of Nendrum College. The donut sale was a fantastic success, with donuts selling out in 5 minutes. Thanks to Ards Asda Bakery team for reserving donuts, it was a tremendous help! Our next fundraiser will take place after Halloween Break.

      The Year 10 Football team opened up their season with a resounding scoreline over Ballynahinch High School. The side battled hard in the first half into a strong headwind before stretching their lead throughout the second half. Victory was secured with a cohesive team display that demonstrated communication, confidence  and effort. Congratulations!
