Key Stage 3
Here at Nendrum College we as a Department seek to provide a broad and balanced programme of study which encompasses all aspects of the development of the pupil (emotionally, intellectually, ethnically, physically and creatively). We as a staff are enthusiastic in our approach and committed to making the pupils experience in PE both a positive and enjoyable one. Positive learning experiences will promote social and interpersonal skills, qualities and attitudes. Units covered include Football, Badminton, Netball, Athletics, Swimming, Dance, Basketball, Gymnastics, Table tennis, and Fitness. Teacher observation, peer and self evaluations are used to assess progress.
In the first three years at Nendrum College pupils will receive four periods each week (2 hours 20 minutes). Pupils can then opt to study PE at GCSE level.
