Linking Generations

Nendrum College has a strong partnership with Linking Generations NI. This partnership allows pupils to volunteer time after school to visit Stepping Stones in Comber. This experience allows our pupils to integrate with the local community and also allows the community to have a positive experience with the pupils of Nendrum College.

The residents and pupils participate in joint organised activities. This enables learning for both generations. It can also bring out the competitive side by playing games together. This programme has been a very positive experience for pupils, residents and staff who attend.
